At Gottstein Corporation, we’re always looking for ways to strengthen our industry relationships, and our recent trip to the 2025 International Millwright Leadership Conference was a perfect opportunity to do just that. Held last week in Las Vegas, the event brought together industry leaders, contractors, and union representatives to discuss the future of millwright work, leadership, and collaboration.
Our President, Ken Gottstein, and Vice President, Pablo Chiriboga attended the conference with one goal in mind: to find new ways to build a stronger partnership with the union and learn more about the latest programs and resources from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC).
The conference was packed with valuable sessions, but the biggest takeaways for us were the UBC Safety Training and leadership development programs. The safety training drove home how crucial it is to keep safety front and center in every project, while the leadership programs gave us fresh ideas on effective management, team building, and creating a culture of continuous growth.
Beyond those highlights, we had the chance to dive into discussions on critical infrastructure projects, economic trends, and recruitment strategies. The industry breakouts on power generation, conveyors, and hydro were especially relevant to the work we do at Gottstein.
A huge thank you to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, the event organizers, and everyone who participated in making the 2025 International Millwright Leadership Conference such a success. Your dedication, insights, and hospitality were truly inspiring. We left feeling energized and excited to put what we learned into action.
Stay connected with us as we implement new initiatives inspired by the conference, further solidifying Gottstein Corporation’s role as a leader in the industrial contracting sector.
